Redesign and Expansion of the Parking Lot at the Butler School Proposed Parking Lot

The purpose of the project is to:
* Improve upon the ability for emergency vehicles to more easily enter/exit the property
* Remove traffic from South Street at both drop off and pick up time. The redesign of
the parking lot allows for "stacking" of cars more effectively on the property therefore
eliminating backups and congestion on South Street which is problematic for immediate
passage should an emergency occur
* Improve upon the flow of traffic at both drop-off and pick-up times before and after
school
* Improve upon lighting in the parking areas to address safety and security
* Provide a design that will isolate bus traffic from car traffic
* Widen the current entrance roadway to three lanes
* Add an additional access roadway to the property
* Additional additional parking for parents, visitors and staff
* Address the current condition of the deteriorating paved areas
