Community Partnerships

The AMHS Community Partnerships group meets monthly throughout the school year.  Parents and other professionals interested in being a part of this partnership are invited and encouraged to attend a meeting.  All meetings are held in the Avon Middle High School Library and last approximately 1 hour, unless otherwise noted.

Goals:

1. to develop stronger community-school relationships
2. to expose students to opportunities in their futures
3. to create internship and community service partnerships
4. to increase the number of on site and in school visits
5. to develop the professional skill set of students entering the workforce
6. to increase communication between business and educators in planning curriculum
