Daily Announcements October 25, 2021

Athletics:

On Senior Night last Friday, the boys soccer team scored a win at home against Norfolk Aggie. The final score was 5-3. Playing well for the Panthers were our three seniors, Husam Adam, Nathan Maguire, and Harly Beauzile. Each scored a goal, and Harly Beauzile scored 2. Mikey Morais also scored with a chip shot in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Guidance:

All seniors applying early action must give their completed transcript request to Ms. Cartwright in the Main Office as soon as possible if you have not done so already. Forms can be picked up in the Main Office as well

For any student planning to take the SAT on November 6th, the registration deadline is October 8th. There are currently seats available at local schools in the area. This will be one of the last opportunities to take the SAT before the regular decision deadline. Please see Mr. O'Donnell or Ms. Cartwright if you need a fee waiver.

If you are a senior who is planning on applying either Early Action or Early Decision, please make an appointment with Mr. O'Donnell as soon as possible, if you have not done so already.

Boosters:

Boosters have an upcoming fundraiser we want to share with you:

Savers Fundraiser - We are collecting clothes, household textiles, small household goods, home decorative items, toys, games and small electronics. Drop off will be at the front of the school on Saturday, November 6th from 9am to 12pm. Any questions please email amhsboosters@gmail.com.

Spirit Week:

Thanks to everyone who participated in Pajama Day. If you were late today, remember to check in with Mrs. Pyne to get credit for participating. Tomorrow is Class Colors Day.  Don’t forget: students who participate in spirit week will earn points for their class! 

ACES:

This week is the National Red Ribbon Week. Students will receive a packet during lunch to help each person participate. A raffle with occur and the winners will be drawn on Friday for anyone who wears a red ribbon throughout the week.
