Morning Announcements 3/6/2023

During the months of March and April Noelani Milord and Emma MacDonald will be holding a drive that will be collecting NEW & UNUSED items like chapstick, blankets, unscented lotion, inspirational bracelets, coloring/crossword/word search books, colored pencils/crayons, and warm clothing to be put into care packages for breast cancer patients in treatment. A donation box will be in the lobby for students and faculty who would like to support the patients of South Shore Health Foundation. This drive is a service project for the National Honor Society.

Congratulations to Chloe Dantus for her performance at this past weekend's Poetry Out Loud regional competition. She will be advancing to the state finals this Sunday. Break a leg, Chloe!

  • Avon Middle High School now is offering after school tutoring! High School students will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Library with Ms. Messina and Ms. Berardi.
  • Middle School students will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 135 with Ms. Tyler and Mrs. Fuller.

HIGH SCHOOL 

Any current high school student interested in applying to be a part of the yearbook for next year, please email Mrs. Hill by 3/9 for an application.

ATHLETICS

  • Spring Sports begin March 20th ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE ORANGE CARD, CONCUSSION FORM, UP TO DATE PHYSICAL AND IMPACT TESTING COMPLETED AND TURNED INTO NURSE BEFORE YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN SPRING SPORTS.
  • Winter Sports Awards Night Tuesday, March 14th at 6:00 P.M.
  • Mayflower All Star Classic March 15th at Old Colony Girls at 5:00 and Boys at 6:00

MAIN OFFICE

  • All Emergency form packets should now be in the front office. If you have lost the packet, see Mrs. Cartwright or Ms. Bernardino for another copy.
  • Charlie Card bus passes are now available in the front office, and can be used on the Bat Bus.
  • Detention is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and today it will be held in the auditorium
