Morning Announcements 1/5/2023

MAIN OFFICE

• All Emergency form packets should now be in the front office. If you have lost the packet, see Mrs. Cartwright or Ms. Bernardino for another copy.
• Charlie Card bus passes are now available in the front office, and can be used on the Bat Bus.

ACES is currently hiring a Youth Prevention Leader to work alongside with the coordinator and other community leaders for $15 an hour. If you are interested please contact Mrs. Isidor or email aces.avon@gmail.com for an application. A resume is necessary.

ATHLETICS

• Girls Basketball Practice 2:30-4:00
• Boys JV and Varsity Practice 4:00-5:30
• Cheer Practice 5:30-7:00

• The Boys Varsity team loss to Blue Hills 53-36 in their first game of the new year.  The Panthers struggled with turnovers and could not get past Blue Hills full court press.  The Panthers showed great energy to make a left 4th quarter push led by Bradley Charles and Laz Fontes.
• The Boys JV team loss to Blue Hills 42-32.  Thomas Edwards led all scores with 18 points.  This is the first loss for the JV team this season.

Fitness Center (Gym) will be open on Wednesdays ONLY from 2:15pm to 3:20pm. See Ms. Alves for permission slips.

Detention is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
