The Avon Girls lost a hard fought game to Wareham 33 to 26. Hanalie Cadet had 11 pts and Dahlia Parent had 9 points to lead the Panthers. Christie Nelson, Kylie Mallett and Kylie Anderson all played great Defense in the loss.
The Boys Jv team loss a tough game against Wareham on Friday night. The players showed true grit playing to the final whistle. Playing great defense were Josiah Guerrier and Jordan Medieros.
The Boys Varsity team loss a hard fought game against Wareham on Friday. The Panthers traded buckets back and forth with the Vikings, but could not overcome the Vikings deep bench. Captain Andre Cordero led all scores with 15 points, Captain Nate Maguire had 10 points, and Corey Mckoy had 12 points.
Guidance:
Any seniors, who have not yet made an appointment with Mr. O'Donnell to discuss college, please do so as soon as possible. Deadlines for applications start January 1st. To make an appointment, you can either see Mr. O'Donnell directly in Room 226 or Ms. Cartwright in the Main Office.
All seniors applying regular decision need to make sure they send in their recommendation form and transcript request form at least two weeks before their first application deadline. Regular decision deadlines start January 1st, so please see Mr. O'Donnell as soon as possible if you need help.
Bridgewater State University is holding SAT Preparation Classes during the spring. Any junior who is interested can see Mr. O'Donnell for more information.
Student Council:
The theme days next week are for all students in Grades 7-12.
The movie on Thursday is just for grades 7 & 8 but please everyone in Grades 7-12 should feel free to enjoy the themes, including the staff.
