Daily Announcements November 30, 2021

Athletics:

Winter Tryouts are today tomorrow in the Gym from 2:30- 7:30 *masks must be worn*

Girls Basketball will be from 2:30-3:45

Boys Basketball 7th, 8th, 9th will be from 3:45-5:00

Boys Basketball 10th, 11th, 12th will be from 5:00-6:15

Cheer will be from 6:15-7:30

Boys Varsity Winter Showcase Friday, December 3rd at 5:00 P.M. admission = 1 canned good

Girls Varsity Scrimmage at SSVT Friday, December 3rd 3:30, bus leaves at 2:15

Guidance:

Any seniors, who have not yet made an appointment with Mr. O'Donnell to discuss college, please do so as soon as possible. Deadlines for applications start January 1st. To make an appointment, you can either see Mr. O'Donnell directly in Room 226 or Ms. Cartwright in the Main Office.

Interact Club:

The Interact Club will be meeting today in room 300 at 2:25.  Come join us to learn more about how we are helping our community. We will be planning our upcoming food drive.  Speak with Mr. Lochrie if you have any questions.

STEM Club:

Attention middle school students, the STEM club will be meeting after school on Wednesday in room 121 at 2:25.  Come learn about the engineering behind launching rockets to the moon.  See Mr. Lochrie or Mr. Hutchison if you have any questions.

Student Council: 

High School Student Council will meet at 2:25 pm on Friday in the library.  All high school students are welcome to join us (and all StuCo members are required to attend}!

Drama Club:

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to audition for Student Shorts: Year 7.  Auditions will be held today at 2:30 in the auditorium.  For more information, see Mrs. Pyne.

Notifications:

Do you have a talent that you’d like to showcase in the AMHS talent show? Then video and submit an audition tape to stuco@apps.avon.k12.ma.us by December 8. The winners of the talent show will take home a prize! Questions? See Maeve Hagberg, Jaime Durodola, or Mrs. Pyne.
