Are you interested in decorating a gingerbread house?  Well, you can this Wednesday, December 20th in the cafeteria.The Student Council is hosting the contest - open to students in all grades AND faculty! Need a gift for that special Panther in your life? The AMHS Boosters are running a Holiday Fundraiser till December 20th!  

All students are encouraged to check out the Lost and Found (located at the elevator entrance by the front office.)  There are many many coats and jackets.  There are also water bottles, pencil cases.  Be advised that any items still left in Lost and Found after Christmas will be either thrown away or donated.

Middle School

Attention Middle School students:  After school homework help is now available!  If you need help with completing work and/or improving your grades in classes, stay after school in Room 122 with Ms. Tyler and Ms. Martell. They are available Monday-Thursday from 2:25-3:25pm.  Stop by and get some work done.

Sports

  • Varsity Boys Basketball takes care of business on the road beating Rising Tide 62-32, Sophomore guard Thomas Edwards had 21 pts and Senior Josiah Gueirrier had 12 pts and 12 rebounds Winter
  • The Avon Girls Varsity Team scored their first win of season over Rising Tide Charter with a score of 43-21.The Panthers defense was led by Uwa Idada, who had 11 Rebounds and 3 Blocks while only conceding 5 points in the first half. The scoring was spearheaded by Assistant Captain Hanelie Cadet who had 23, followed by Captain Kylie Mallet with 19.The 1-1 Panthers play Norfolk Aggie this Wednesday, December 20th
