ATHLETICS

The Holbrook Avon Bulldogs won their Friday night match up against Monomoy 24-13.  The bulldogs exploded on offense with big runs from Thomas Irby.  Justin Banks was the center of the defense registering 10 tackles.  Come support the Bulldogs this Friday night for their Homecoming game at 6:00 P.M.

Avon Varsity volleyball played their most challenging match of the season against West Bridgewater, losing 0-3. The Panthers were able to return plays with dynamic blocks by Kylie Andersen and unmatchable digs by Valencia Jean. Valerie Salawu also had a flawless set both defensively and offensively.

Thank you to everyone who participated at Avon Volleyball's Dig Pink Game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Donation items will be collected at all our home games and for the remainder of October. If you are unable to make a game, collection boxes are located in the AMHS Library or RM 235. Continue to support the cause and wear pink on any athletic game day!

MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL FESTIVAL DANCE

Please note that the time has changed for the Fall dance on Oct. 21st from 6:00-9:00 PM, the 7th & 8th grade will have a Fall Festival Dance. Tickets for the dance will be sold during lunch this week for $10 which includes free refreshments. No tickets will be sold at the door.

National Junior Honor Society:

Candidate Forms are being handed out this week to interested 8th and 9th graders.  If you would like to join NJHS, please fill out this form and return it to Ms. Wagner by October 31.

Attention Class of 2023!

This is the last week to order your Senior shirts! All orders and payments are to be made to Ms. Vogel or Ms. Francisco by October 24. Please see our Google Classroom, school email or flyers for the link to the order form and pricing. See Ms. Vogel if there are any questions.

Attention Freshmen, Class of 2026:

There will be a meeting after school for all members of the freshmen this Thursday, October 20 in Mr. Ferro's room afterschool.
