Morning Announcements - 11-13-23
Fall spirit week starts this week, Wednesday the 15th, with student and teacher swap day. Students, dress as a teacher, and teacher's dress as the students you see walking the halls! Remember that participation in Spirit Week earns points for your class at the pep rally!
ACES is currently hiring Youth Prevention Leaders for The Town of Avon! If you are interested in working on a mental health project, receive training on upstream prevention and conduct research please contact eisidor@avon-ma.gov for more information. Drama Club presents "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at 7pm this Friday and Saturday! Tickets are just $8 for adults, $5 for staff and students and $4 for senior citizens/kids under 10. They are on sale now in the office or can be purchased at the door. Thank you for supporting the Drama Club. We'll see you at the show!
Middle School
There will be no Middle School Art Club today after school.
Data Detectives will resume today.
Attention Middle School students: After school homework help is now available! If you need help with completing work and/or improving your grades in classes, stay after school in Room 122 with Ms. Tyler and Ms. Martell. They are available Monday-Thursday from 2:25-3:25pm. Stop by and get some work done.
High School
A reminder to all Sophomores (class of 2026) any help you can offer with your banner would be greatly appreciated. We will be in room 113.
SPORTS
The Cross Country team ended its season Saturday in the State Championship. Connor Belvin, Jack Ericsson, Caleb Casimir and Jay Reilly all ran strong. Avon came in 23rd place and represented the school well.
All members of the cross country team: please return your uniform to Mr. Ferro in room 113 by the end of the week.
