ACES is currently hiring Youth Prevention Leaders for The Town of Avon! If you are interested in working on a mental health project, receive training on upstream prevention and conduct research please contact eisidor@avon-ma.gov for more information. ACES and BSU will be holding a Tobacco and Race Workshop on Monday, December 4th in our school library. Representatives of the 84 will be coming down at 2:30 to present a session for 90 minutes. Please note that the event will be free and food will be provided. You can scan the QR code on the flyers to sign up and see Mrs. Isidor or Ms. Alves for a photo consent form. We look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to audition for the Drama Club next production, Student Shorts: Year 9. Auditions will be held on Monday, November 27 and Thursday, November 30 at 2:30p in the auditorium. For more information, see Mrs. Pyne.

Auditions for the talent show are next Monday through Thursday from 2:05-2:30. To book an audition spot, scan the QR code on the flyers hanging around school.

Middle School

Attention Middle School students: After school homework help is now available! If you need help with completing work and/or improving your grades in classes, stay after school in Room 122 with Ms. Tyler and Ms. Martell. They are available Monday-Thursday from 2:25-3:25pm. Stop by and get some work done.

Sports

The Winter Tryout schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 11/27-11/29

Girls Basketball 2:30-3:45

Boys Basketball 6-7-8 3:45-5:00

Boys Basketball 9-10-11-12 5:00-6:30

Cheer 6:30-8:00

Girls Varsity Basketball tryouts are Monday-Wednesday this week from 2:30 to 3:45. Try outs will begin exactly at 2:30, so make sure you are there on time. The roster will be decided by Thursday, November 30th.
