Morning Announcements 12/15/2022

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

• Buy your yearbook now!!   you can still save $10.00 if you purchase a yearbook before 12/16. The cost will be $75.00, after 12/16 the cost will be $85.00, if you have any questions please email Ms. Hill.
• Teams of two are invited to compete in our StuCo Gingerbread Decorating Contest - open to faculty/staff and students in grades 7-12. See Mrs. Pyne to register!

MAIN OFFICE

• All Emergency form packets should now be in the front office.  If you have lost the packet, see Mrs. Cartwright or Ms. Bernardino for another copy.

• Charlie Card bus passes are now available in the front office, and can be used on the Bat Bus.

ATHLETICS

• The Avon Girls Basketball team won 34-25 over South Shore Christian Academy. Hanelie Cadet had 12 points in the win while Kylie Mallett had 7 points and Dahlia Parent and Emma MacDonald had 6 points apiece in a well-balanced victory. Avon is now 2-0. 

• The JV Boys basketball team won their second game of the season against South Shore Christian. The Panthers were led by their hot offense from Lennon Delgado Montrond and Thomas Edwards. Jimarion Postell led the team in rebounds with 10.

• The Boys Varsity Team Beat South Shore Christian Academy in their first Non-League Matchup of the year. The Panthers showed their strong defense in creating 20 Turnovers. Leading the Panthers Josiah Guerrier had 10 points and Jordan Medeiros had 11.

• Boys Middle School at Randolph Middle School, Thursday, December 15th at 4:00 P.M., bus leaves at 3:15.

• Girls Varsity Basketball Away Game at Bristol Aggie, Thursday, December 15th at 3:30 P.M.

• Boys Varsity and JV Practice 2:30-4:00.

• Cheer Practice 4:00-5:30

Fitness Center (Gym) will be open this Friday ONLY from 2:15pm to 3:20pm. See Ms. Alves for permission slips.
