Morning Announcements 1/26/2023

ACES is currently hiring a Youth Prevention Leader to work alongside with the coordinator and other community leaders for $15 an hour. If you are interested please contact Mrs. Isidor or email aces.avon@gmail.com for an application. A resume is necessary.

Drama Club presents "Student Shorts: Year 8" at 7pm on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5 for staff and students. Thank you for supporting the Drama Club. We'll see you at the show!

Avon Middle High School now is offering after school tutoring!

  • High School students will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Library with Ms. Messina and Ms. Berardi.
  • Middle School students will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 135 with Ms. Tyler and Mrs. Fuller.

MAIN OFFICE

  • All Emergency form packets should now be in the front office. If you have lost the packet, see Mrs. Cartwright or Ms. Bernardino for another copy.
  • Charlie Card bus passes are now available in the front office, and can be used on the Bat Bus

ATHLETICS

The Boys Varsity team beat Sturgis West 41-23 in their second matchup of the season.  Leading the way for the Panthers was Junior Kenzel Jean-Michel with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

  • Boys JV and Varsity Practice at 5:00 -6:30
  • Cheer Practice 6:30-8:00
  • Girls Varsity Basketball Game Vs Sturgis West, Thursday, January 26th at 3:30

Fitness Center (weight room) will be open on Wednesdays ONLY from 2:15pm to 3:20pm. See Ms. Alves for permission slips.

Detention is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
