Updated Daily Announcements September 15, 2021

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage month, this celebration was created to recognize the positive impact that Hispanic Americans have left on the country. Each year, from September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central, and South America. Today we recognize Mario Molina: who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995 in Chemistry for his research on the threat of CFCs to the Earth Ozone Layer. Thank you, Dr. Molina!
